Public Transportation from Istanbul Airport

From Istanbul Airport to Renaissance Polat Hotel Yesilkoy by yellow cabs will cost approximately 1400-1500 TL (35 Euros). Registered airport cabs which are parked outside the airport’s arrival terminal all use taximeters. It takes 30-50 minutes to reach the hotel depending on the traffic.

The fastest way by public transport is to take an airport bus (called Havaist). Go to peron 10 outside the arrivals area. Take the bus HVL4 to direction “Bakırköy IDO Iskelesi” Leave the bus at “Ataköy 3. Kısım”. Walk to Marmaray (B1) train station. Take the train to “Halkalı” direction. Leave the train at Yeşilyurt station. The hotel is 10 minutes walking distance from the station. Public transport takes approximately 2 hours to reach the hotel.
